yeah no kidding HoLe. that really threw me for a loop.
I went out one day to find a radio shack and couldn't.

thank you RIU and members,,these 2 topped Big Bud girls are coming down,,,,today,,Monday will be 8 weeks flower,,but I believe they are done,,I'll get pics along the way,,couple of questions,,,now that I have a plant that produced fat swollen buds with crystals and shit,,I don't wanna fuck it up,,,should I ,,trim large leaves only and hang entire plant,,should I,,seperate each large stalk stalk from the base,,and hang separate,I been picking off large dead leaves through the day,,as you can see in one pic,,any comments would be appreciated on best chopping and hanging techniques,,thxs in advance

Edit: see my Gretta off to the right,,she's been topped,,but got to veg longer,,and still is vegging,,she gonna be big

good question and good timing....cuz my bigbuds are too going to come down....though I prolly will wait until the end of the week.....how exciting is THAT eh HoLE!....we get to share pics, share yeilds, share smoke reports......yaaaaa!!!!!!

Hey Hole, trimmin away I see, lol. Don't forget the scissor goo (hash), that shit is the best, lol. As for hanging, if you have a well ventilated room and can wait for it all to dry, I would trim all the leaves off and hang the entire cola. You may have to hang the smaller ones separately though as I had to do. If you hanging the whole thing, make sure you get al the inside leaves off to promote good air flow around the buds. To prevent molding. Or you can just cut em all off and hang each bud by bud, they tend to dry quicker this way I find, your choice. Good luck, can't wait to hear how it smokes. :mrgreen::peace:

yes it is fukkin awesome tahoe,,my 3rd grow,,finally got thc in my plants,,I cannot wait to smoke some,,but I am a patient mutha,I will dry and cure properly,,but if you or anyone,,(ahem,fdd2blk),,could give me a couple pointers I would greatly appreciate it,,lol,,anyone can help,,you know what I mean,,HoLE-Eeee,,I haven't felt like this since my 2 boys were born,,wow

yuppers...pretty freakin amazing.....I totally understand ya! I have been impatient and test a couple of small buds and I am so totally impressed.....I have this yield and then the four clones in a couple of months....things are gonna be chock-full.....and I have got more smoke that I could have ever hoped for.....look forward to seeing them pics man!

Looks like they are well enough swollen to me anyway.
Once those leaves are trimmed of and its dried should look nice and fat with plenty of swollen calyxs.
Glad to hear that i was of help.
Now get to those scissors:mrgreen::peace::joint:

let the trimming begin,,my hunny HF does it cuz she is a maticulous leaf pikker/trimmer,,,and I'm lazy,,drug testing may happen at her work,,so she put on some latex,,,lol,,it's in her,,I smoke around her all the time,,anyway,,here is plant 1,,goin down,,she was topped at around 4 weeks,,and thrown into flower,,she is now just 10 arms and 17 inches tall

clippin right along,,lol,,,plant one is done,,cept for the base chop,,and plant two is on the block,,my hunny says the smell is intoxicating,,I asked her to decribe it,,and that's what she said,,this second one is all bud,,hard as a rock too,,mmmmmm
