ok so i have 2 master kush plants. i have had problems with there nutes and the fan leaves are fading color and dying, and the branch growth is a little stunted. but the plants are still growing, i keep finding new healthy leaves, even tho they dont stay healthy for long.

anyways they are now both 10 inches tall, and while watering and examing them this morning i noticed some thick white pestils apearing at the nodes on the top 1/3 of the plant.... they are still on 24 hour light! what should i do?

im adding CFL'S this week for more side growth and im trying to stabalize there nutrients... but now that theyve started flowering if i dont get them on 12/12 soon arnt they gonna go hermie? should i just switch to 12/12 and start bloom nutes? i dont care how much or how good the harvest is.. i just want to harvest something. this is my first indoor grow.

I'm assuming you're growing in soil. You need a couple of things, a pH tester for soil (about $10 at Lowes or HD) and a tester that shows the nutrient value of the soil ($15 or so - same place). That should give you a reasonable idea where you're at as far as pH and nutes. My guess is that you might be watering it too often or not enough. You probably should be watering about twice a week, giving it a good soaking then letting the roots completely dry out for a couple of days. Also, How big is your container? It might be that you've got a bucket of roots (rootbound) and it needs to be transplanted. At 10" tall, you're just about right for flipping it, however I would let them go a little longer. The stress may cause them to hermie; that's just the way it is and the damage is probably already done. Call it a lesson. Best of luck.

those "white hairs" sound like female pre-flowers not flowers. Many types of plants will show their sex while they are still in veg. You can switch to 12/12 now to induce flowering now that you know she's a female. What type of lights are you using now?

3 20 watt t-8's and a 23 watt cfl that i just added today for side growth.

i made alot of mistakes early on with watering and nutes, and i meant to get them under more light a while ago so im suprised these plants are still alive. i dont expect much from them im just gonna let em veg for another week or two and flip em and see what happens.

this grow is a learning expierience for me

As a temporary fix you can foliar feed them. Read the directions on your fertilizer and use the right amount to foliar feed while you are figuring out what's wrong with the soil. Sounds like they are starving for whatever reason but this will help.
