highest yielding indoor plant 400whps???

hey guys. ive just finished a grow under 250w hps. upgraded to 400w and from the 250 i got approx an oz a plant. i would love to increase this to maybe 2 oz a plant. do you guys some sort of g13 lst and scrog would be beneficial? my last strain was white widow and was very pleased with it but want to try somthing different. my grow space is very limited. 4x4x6.5 ft. i was thinking 3 to 4 plants???

Anyone got any suggestions? by the way this is a commercial grow so any other strain suggestions are more than welcome!!!

AK47 - if you want good yields...easy to grow...potent weed with good bag appeal, I would suggest AK47. I would also grow at least 8 plants in a space that size, easy. Thats 16 SF under a 400 watter, you should have plenty of room for 8 plants. Good luck. :peace:

8 plants hmm. thanks for the suggestions. i have heard lots about ak47. anyone else got any thoughts on this?? 8 plants seems a lot for that space no????

ak47 in the lead so far.

400 watt commercial grow huh...lol. Sounds like you should probably learn how to grow before you try making a profit from it. Good luck and keep dreamin. IMO Much Love.

16 ounces...now I know your dreamin. If you get 7-8 ounces with a 400 watt light your doing good. I have a feeling you wont even get that. Sorry I,m a realist, you obviously are a novice. Learn the plant then making money COULD be a possibility. IMO Much Love.

i know 16 ounces is a bit unrealistic but even i i get half that 4 times a year it will pay for my tuition when i go back to college next year. also rent. sort of why i got into the game. im not looking to make a living from this, ive got a very good steady job and make a cinsiderable wage. just a way of educating myself.

my room is 3.5ft by `1.8ft by 7 ft and run six in there under a 400 watter and pull at least two o's per plant with at least a month veg time first. 8 plants is still only half as many as you could fit if you give each plant one square foot.

first choice, critical mass(like i said), chronic, MNS Medicine Man is supposed to be a good yielder with killer smoke. Look into anything crossed with big bud, i have a nirvana seeds NL#5XBB goin right now that looks like its gonna be a nice yielder, they are cheap seeds too. my first choice would definitely be Critical Mass, i was just looking at a grow journal by Heath Robinson and he yielded 80 ounces from 2 plants. thats massive, but he is a very experienced grower. basically any strain u read up on that says it is a god yielder will have one pheno in the batch that would be a good yielder, then just clone the shit out of it.

hmmm. never heard of critical mass, wil look into it. thanks. 80 ounces from 2 plants!!!! that would be nice alright. yeah im planning on vegging for a month at least this time round. my last grow went very well. 4 white widow from nirvana, they only grew to about 2 foot and adveraged about an ounce a plant give or take under a 250 watt hps. very happy for a first grow. paid for part of my trip to ibiz. cheers guys!!!!

sounds like u did good. each grow u will get a little better and learn a little more. definitely check out Critical Mass and good luck!

I would do either big bud or northern lights since appears you are new to the growing scene.

I have looked into big bud and from reading here and other sources it sounds like its not all its made out to be. I dont mind a plant that may be a little harder to look after if its worth it in the end. I am fairly new to this but im realy going to give it my all. so far ive done things right from the start. nutes, soil, grow area, fan, carbon extractor, reflector, etc, etc... the critical mass and ak are winners at the moment although i cant seem to find CM anywhere. I am living in ireland so customs arent a problem if anyone can recommend anywhere to buy?? Thanks for the suggestions guys!!!

While it is tough to get 1 pound per 400 watt light it is doable, if you're using the proper strain and good nutes, this guy did it growing chronic:

my friend had some big bud it wasent all that great, i have a 4x4 area also but with a 1000 watt hps and sog aero grow. if i were you i would go with a kush strain and try sog its a lot better
