We do have our own cups and you still have to pay and provide smoke. Some say they are rigged. Eh

You are paying for the name for the High Times Cup and tons of non michigan seedbanks and companies will be in town.

We can can show how we grow bomb ass weed unlike other states (I'm looking at you Colorado)
 
Why cant we just do a free one? I dont have a problem burning people down and showing off my gear. Don't see why anyone should have to pay to enter. The people that win those are always growing somebody else's beans seems like.I purchased seeds before and about half the breeders i bought from are just blowing smoke.either the plant doesn't look rite or I end up with multiple phenos and hermaphrodite plants.

Because a free one won't give you the satisfaction that your'e better then someone else at something! XD

Phenotype hunting is art work brother and the difference between winning/losing or failure/success. Additionally many of those truly standout phenotypes that strains get known by and become the source of their breeders "description" come from the original run of a particular strain. As the original parents die off and are replaced, the magic is lost forever. A good example is all of the international breeders outsourcing their operations to Spain over the past few years, it's a game changer and not a good one IMHO.
 
Im poor cant afford it. Ya let me tell my patients hay Im paying a grand and giving your bud to the cannabis cup for personal glory and recognition. That sounds douchebagy to me.

Mr.perkins sir how did you get this info?I cant find anything. Something about dispensaries and coffee shops only.A price tag to be a judge for 200$ does not say how many judges.Does not say how to enter a strain.
 
I just heard a rumor that you will need to buy tickets to the cup in advance because they most likely will sell out prior to the event. Anyone else hear anything like this, are tickets even limited???
