Temps have been getting into the 90s lately. Girls are drinking 20+liters of water each day. Even if i shade em its still hot. Any ideas? Opinions?

Thanks

You could try mulching with straw or alfalfa. If they are in pots, mulch around them as well. That, plus shade should be enough.

Will do. Even tho i have to give em 5x more attention and care durring this heat they are crazy happy.

You can also trim back the lower foliage to increase air flow below them. My temps are constantly over 100 here. I have a 60% shade and 100 gallon pots, no mulching.

Here during Summer we reach max temps **inna the shade** betwwen 37 to 47 °Celsius...

I'm growing my plants outside in the ground. Temps are hitting around 100F (108 with heat index). I'm usually having to water my plants twice a day to keep them happy. The ground is dry and hard like concrete when I go to water them. Been watering them with Mega Crop at every watering and don't see any signs of toxicity yet so I'm going to carry on. One of them is growing so quick it will be ready to harvest in three to four weeks. These high temps will make them transpire fast so keep them well hydrated.

15 gal smart pots. Now that its cooled down they are happier and gulpin down less. That is per plant. Biggest girl fills out about 6x6
That's why your watering like u are because fabric pots of that size need watering every day when it's hot
If they were 3x bigger pots watering would only need to be done every second day

my temps are always over 100 degrees everyday. I grow in a raised bed and it’s in a open hoop house. I water twice a day as well and feed every 3 days, I’m gonna bump the days up between feedings. I’m glad to hear your not showing any toxicity.

IMho .20 litres isn't a crazy amount for big plants....
Per each plant? N daily?

Not only it is crazy...is like an ecological crimen.
Make numbers with me: to the 15 plants everyday 300 litres; durin a month 9.000 litres... Isent it crazy?
