High EC feeding…

It's interesting that everybody rates Athena nutrients so highly and there formulation is close to the Lucas ratio. I wonder how much of Athena's success is to do with it simply being a good ratio of nutrients.

I am trying high EC right now vegging at 2.6 (0.7 starting EC) and will try to exceed 3.0 in flower. Floraflex also recommend these crazy high EC for LED growing due to the low transpiration. They have different target ECs for different lighting types. But it's all so hard to say because everyone's water is different, everyone's ambient temps RH and air flow are different, different lights everything plays a role.
How did this go, which medium did you use and how did you taper up and down? looking into high Ec feeding for my next grow. Thanks in advance!

All the Instagram growers are pushing 5 EC. Get with the times.
I'm back to 1000 PPFD at tops 1000-1200 PPM food (2.0-2.2 EC), 1000 ppm Co2 and anything beyond that buds don't grow "normal" at all they start foxing out and endlessly stacking calyxes which are issues I only saw with HPS when buds were way too close to the lamp. Fun going full circle.
