Hey everyone at RIU!
Just wanted to introduce myself and say Hi to everyone. I just joined RIU last night and have already found quite a bit of helpful information. I am a new-old grower. The last garden I has was back in 2001-2002 (At the end - prior to the cops - had over 600 babies in DWC) - in Denver, CO. But - back now and looking for a good community to learn and 'grow' from - as well as, hopefully, to share the little bit of knowledge that I do retain. (Which honestly may not be much - but...I'll do my best! - A LOT has changed in technology)
A little about me:
Currently residing in the Pacific Northwest and just started up a new operation. My current setup is as follows:
Veg Room:
7' x 15' x 8' - Full Reflective Sheeting (Walls, Floor & Ceiling)
(6) 1000w MH - SolisTek Matrix Ballasts, Solis66 Air Cooled Hoods, SolisTek 6k MH Lamps
(20) 6g. RDWC Buckets w/ 8" Net Pots
(1) 33g. Reservoir w/ 1350gph Pump
3/4" Soft Tube Plumbing
(1) 27g. w/ 110gph submersible pump - 'Make-up Tank' (???) - Where I make water and mix nutes until they're ready for use.
(1) 1/4hp Chiller set @ 65F
8" Ducting - Starting out of grow room -> Lights -> 8" Can Fan -> Exhaust (Air doesn't touch grow room - just for lamps)
(2) 1/12 HP A/C Units (To be upgraded as soon as tomorrow to (1) Existing 1/12HP AC & (1) 13,000BTU Standalone A/C)
(2) 110lph Air Pumps to (24) Medium Sir Stones - 1 per bucket and 4 in the Res. (Will need to double that - at least - in the future)
(4) Oscillating Fans positioned in corners of room at full speed
(1) Growonix GX RO System
Canna Nutes (A+B; Rhizo, Cannazym, GH CalMag @ 1ml/L)
Current Staff in Veg: (10) God's Bud (Aug 17) / (6) Blue Dream (Aug 23) / (4) Alien Dawg (Aug 23)
Avg Room Specs: Ambient: 78F / At The Hydroton: 82F / RH: 30-40 / H20 = 70F (exiting) ; 67 (Intake)

*** Physical Room Built - No Hardware....Yet.
*** So, anticipated gear is:
(And BTW - Totally open to suggestions and comments, however, I plan on asking about this in grow room setup.)

(12-16) 1000W HPS Ballasts, Hoods and Bulbs - No brand picked yet (Liking the SolisTek's so far though...We'll see...TBD)
(2) 1/2HP Water Chillers
1"+ Plumbing (Leaning toward 2" - like Current Culture's setups)
10"-12" Fans and ducting
25,000+ BTU's A/C
Propane CO2 w/ Bottle Backup
Otherwise - same setup but double everything.
Again, I am still going through the setup of this room and will ask about it in the appropriate place.
Grow will be continuous, with planned harvests every ~~30 days. ((40 Clones) 20 For Grow / 20 For Sale; (20 plants) Veg for 30; (20plants) Phase 1 Flower; (20plants) Phase 2 Flower)
So. That's me. Pictures to follow - plan on starting a journal and have some good pics of the grow room being assembled and where it is now.
