Hi im new to grow indoors

My mate had it in a small pot when i got home i put it in the 12ltr pot but when i took it out of the old pot it had roots all around the soil it was growing it so the roots was tight

Sounds like you are doing everything right then. A lot of the the job is monitoring lol. Take note of the size and growth of the plant and its branches. If its getting good growth, let it go.

When you see your plants every day, its hard to really notice the growth unless its major. Your friend on the other hand will probably be amazed when he comes over and sees the difference.

So yer its been about 8 days since its been in the 12ltr pot

Edit:
You will most likely have to transplant before going into bud if you want to avoid the plant being root bound and needing watered frequently. Cross that bridge when you get to it though.

It sounds like things are progressing fine for your plant. At this point it probably found the edges of the pot and will work on filling in empty space with root.
