For soil, I would apply fertilizer once a week and water the rest of the time it needs it. You will have to judge the plant on when it needs nutrients and the strength. Dark green plants are usually full of nutrients. I would start off with the weakest feed your grow nutrient bottle suggests. The rates on the bottles are how much you mix in each gallon of water. Don't give them fertilizer directly, delude it with water like the company suggests.
 
After you water, lift your pot to feel how heavy it is after the feeding. When it becomes a lot lighter with drying over the next ~3 days, water it again. You want to have dry/wet cycles.

12 liters of grow medium? Try a half gallon of water to start. You want to water the medium evenly and slowly. Stop watering when you start getting run off. People say to aim for about 10% runoff.

Edit: I am familiar with coco growing, the coco can hold a lot of water. Soil will probably hold/need less.
 
I like to start in a smaller pot and work my way up to larger ones, everyone has their preference. I believe transplanting up creates a better root ball.
 
I only but in 600mls in because the last plant i fucked up and was going 3liters every 2 to 3 days and then i got mould but now i just use 600mls.

Over saturating soil can cause some negative effects, was it powdery mildew on the plant or mold on the top soil?

I don't think 600mls is enough with a 3 gallon container. Try about a liter and add more if you are not getting runoff. You should only water your plants when they are close to drying out or it can cause issues or drown the plant.
 
Ohh sweet yer i was told like less then 1liter but i will do 1liter. It was mold on top soil and more down the soil and a funky smell when i was watering it

Nothing is exact when you are growing weed, you just have to get a feel for the situation and the plants. The more issues you run across, the more experienced you are for fighting or preventing them after. Following a precise schedule will lead to problems like over and under watering.

if 600mls is giving you runoff, then stick with that for now. Is the clone fresh into the pot and still spreading its root? Grow medium not filled with roots will have faster runoff.
