Ive had my plant next to the window for about 3-4 months and its growing pretty slowly so im gonna get some lights on it instead. I was wondering if a UV lighting unit, like the ones used for reptile tanks n fish ect, would be good enough? I used this when they were seedling and it worked ok, or should i just buy some cfl's or sumin? Pic of the lighting unit below

CFL's will work & are about 9-12 $ each. For 1 plant 2 overhead & maybe 1 on each side.. Not the best way, but a good cheap alternative.... I paid $12 for 2 - 24w's, stronger is better...always
Good luck :)

Go with daylight if you can get 6-9 hrs. of direct sun. Keep under the cfl's at night or until it's strong enough to be plantes outside... If that's your plan...
the sunlights not too good in england lol, snowin atm
so neither of them gonna work... just gonna get some cfl's on it

i have one 20w 6500k (cool white) cfl an i had seedlings growing under it on a 18/6 light cycle even though on here people use alot more but i find that it works for a few weeks veg then i put them under a 125w 2700k (warm white) cfl to flower on a 12/12 lighting cycle and i seem to be having decent resultsi have four females in flower right now looking good and starting to really stink
