HI Caregivers

Howzit?

If there are patients that need safe access to medicine, and you can't have dispensaries yet. What are these people suppose to do for meds? I am capable of handling some patients, and would love to. So what are the laws like in HI for caregivers? I am serious about moving there, The Universe has been pointing me to those islands for along time now. I have some great friends out there with a huge desire to help people. My goal is to save up enough money to build an Aquaponics farm. Along the way I would love to be able to provide for as many patients as I'm allowed to. So, if anyone can point me in the direction of an attorney, or a knowledgeable friend, or a website, I would be very grateful.

Peace, and love,
Neb

howzit, you are allowed to have a card for yourself and be a caregiver for one person. So the max for a patient and caregiver is 6 mature plants and 8 immature (not flowering)

You can try to speak with Brian at Patients Without Time.
Be very careful in Hawaii. The medical law is tweaked.
There used to be an excellent dispensary on Maui and they got taken down.
Best of Luck.

So, as I understand it, there are no Co-ops or Caregiver abilities? Only 3 flowering plants state wide?
Mmj patients can only have one caregiver. You are allowed 7 plants total, 3 of which can be mature or have flowers. You are also allowed to have 3 oz of usable product at any given time. These totals are between the caregiver and patient together. You can only be a caregiver for one person at a time excluding yourself. So at most, one person could possibly have 14 total plants 6 being mature and 6 oz of usable product if they were a patient as well as a caregiver for someone else.... hope this helps!

Hello all just moved to hawaii about 3 months ago from seattle. One question does hawaii really call them selves an mmj legal state? Your laws are terrible in comparison. I would like to find out about quality strains on the island of oahu looking for some samples from some quality mothers. Thanks again

killaz is pretty much on it, they don't make it so that you can live off growing in the grey area, and no one will ever vote in dispensaries because too many people run their lives on the black market. It was just rejected for the third or fourth time last month or so... makes me sad, haha :P

Aloha,

Been in Hawaii for a few years, lived here before. I'm in need of a caregiver or someone that can help with getting me access to meds. I recently lost my one solid connection and I'm really hurting these days. I really don't want to take my chances on the streets. Any help with pointers in the right direction would be killa!
