Size and growth rate depend on strain, and I don't know how Big Bud grows -- but you're saying the plant in pic 1 is two weeks old from seed? That looks pretty normal.

And certainly compared to the other pic, it's got a lot more leaf growth. It's probably spending more energy growing the root system right now and will start devoting more energy to leaf growth soon.

Hi there yeah its getting lot of roots. It spent two weeks as a seeling in my propigator. Then i put it into the hydro kit twoo weeks ago.

Ok, so it sounds like it's 4 weeks old. If that's the case and roots are growing well and the plant isn't showing any signs of deficiencies, then everything's normal given the light you're using.

What light are you using?

Lighting's good. Everything seems pretty normal and healthy given age, root growth and lighting. So there's always the nute variable, though the plant looks like it's getting good nutrition.

What nutes are you using? After this variable, I'd say the genetics of the plant will be keeping it short and squat.

Im just using the single bottle neut... Canadian xpress growt for hydro the NPK is 4--0.6--4

Hmmm...I don't know that one. The NPK configuration looks ok for vegging, when N needs are higher. But I'm surprised the P is so low -- it might not be enough for flowering.

I suggest you post that as a separate question in the nutrients section. However, for where the plant is today, I don't think that the nutes are contributing to slow growth rate. If there was a deficiency, maybe, but the plant looks otherwise very healthy. So for now, I'd say you just have short, squat plant. See where it goes at 8 weeks. It will double in height again from there during flowering.

And maybe someone else will also weigh in here in the meantime!
