will this light be sufficient for my plant for now
and for how long
my plant is only about 3 or 4 inches tall and i recently moved it indoors from outdoors and its starting to get yellow spots on the leaves and it look like its slowly dieing
so yeah im using a 40 watt Hi-Intesnity light bulb
on a 25watt lamp

a cfl fits in a regular light bulb socket. so... you can, regardless of if you live in an apartment.

Your plant is going to die unless it's under a cfl, a regular fluorescent light, or an HID.

Don't put a cfl in the high-intensity fixture before checking that both wattage measures are compatible/match - fires suck

peace.

your going to need much more light as the plant grows just go out and get a bunch of cfl's atleast. Your going to need more light for flowering especially so you might as well get it now and let that gal grow. Good luck.
