Finally decided to grow indoor since its getting cold out. i need advice on what type of light to use.. i currently have two 27 watt (100w) daylight CFL bulbs, 1750 lumens each.. i need to know if this is enough light for 1 plant to start off with.. then later maybe add another one.. I only have 2 lamps right now but i plan on getting another one later on.. Its just a small closet grow so im not planning on going all out. How much light is just enough for 1 plant to be healthy n produce enough herb to keep me happy

you should look into compact flourescents (cfl)..and youre gonna want something bigger than a 1 gallon, i suggest 3 or 5 gallon.

Agreed with above...cfls are inexpensive and efficient...just remember, keep it simple your first time around, take notes, RESEARCH, and most of all, ask questions here...this place is a treasure chest of info...best of luck

Well i been smoking for ages and know all about the herb.. finally decided to grow some. but at least im not a lakers fan

Is it a good idea to have them both lit at the same time because i hear the blue spectrum is for the plants early stage and the red for its flowering stage or does it even matter

Yes, u can use both soectrum, throughout the cycles. Generally, the more light, the better off you will be. Also, remember that circulating fresh air is a must, as well as good water.

Grow them out and you will know for sure. Keep it small and tight. LST, Supercropping will get you nice nuggies for your own stash.
