So probably a noob question but I have a new strain. Its chemdawg and its the 2nd strain I've grown but I've never seen these big pistols or whatever they are on my other plants so I'd like to confirm its normal and not a pollen sack or something

Nvm I see the pistols now. But these are odly plump and huge compared to the headband I grow

Looks like a really fat calyx. Picture is blurry.
Pollen sacks will only point up for a short time when they form then turn down. It will point down and hang then open
 
Might be a seeded preflower, meaning it got pollenated by male flowers on itself or from another plant. There's no harm in taking one off and opening it.
 
I only have 8 plants and they should all be females unless Hermie. But I'm 99% sure its just a fat calyx. Never seen em like that before. I'm gonna take one off just to look anyways tho lol

I have a plant almost ready to harvest that has exceptionally big calyxes as well. Thought I had seeds too but nope. It's all good and these buds are hairy bitches!!
