hermaphrodite plants

i went out to check on my babies yesterday and noticed they are starting to grow balls below the buds... i take it my ladies went hermie.. i know why they went hermie (the door opening during night cycles) but i dont know if i should cut thm down right now.. they are 21 days flowering under my 600w HPS and there is 12 of them should i leave them to finish???

they are purple urkle clones that i took from a mother plant. each clone was vegged about 3 weeks... anybody know?

cool, wasn't sure if they were in your grow journal but I'm working and on break so I don't have a ton of time. Just want to see what you are seeing so maybe I can help you out, I've had hermies before....what a joy....they suck if they are in a room with like 12 other plants...lol

I can't really see that well, and you said balls, are there a group of them? Or is it like one all by itself? Plants look great by the way.

Are you actually seeing a male flower?

the pics are too blurry to make out. but i would hold on to them until there's no doubt that there are balls. after that perhaps you should consider harvesting the sacs to pollinate a select few branches for seeds.

thanx. this is my first grow and it is 10x harder than expected. these ball things are like one or 2 on each plant and they have a little pointy thing at the end of them and they also have one little white hair coming off of each ball..

female flower from your description, is the ball located on the main stem near a node. Whe a plant flowers, the females look like a single ball with white pistils coming out of it, a male flower looks like an uside down tulip to me. let me see if I can't get a picture of what I think you are describing to me....I will see if I can post a pic soon.

balls and a pointy thing. maybe the pointy thing is the 'wang' for the balls. lmao....seriously, I had one hermi...pulled it outa the room totally, let it grow a bit more and smoked it. actually am literally doing some now. lmao...was good shit btw.

If they are balls you can trim them if they are what I put up in the pics I wouldn't...

I smoked my hermie too. It was OK, got me high. I was always under the impression though that when a plant starts to produce seeds it stops producing THC. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks, new camera works great on closeups.

all of them are doing great im glad to see that so many people responded to my post. here is a little better picture but it is the best i can do.. i used a 7.1 megapixel camera but it still got blurry.. i hope they arent hermie.... here is a pic

i think i have come to the conclusion that they are all not hermie.. i think i just stressed myself out over this because everything went so smooth up to this point of the grow. ive been looking at alot of pics trying to determine if they went hermie and i think i am just thinking to hard i need to smoke a bowl and relax........
