Here we go Newbie 1st grow.. Bruce Banner Auto & Zkittlez Auto

Hi everyone

Finally decided on a thread that I would like to join. :bigjoint:

I'm not super strict on all thing exact, but this is my first indoor and autoflower grow.. So with that being said I have not kept my journal without all the fancy talk. I am growing indoor an extra room I have upstairs. Being up in the Northern portion of the US we can only grow a certain amount of days outdoors after and before the frost comes. So the tent was a no brainier.

I have 2 Bruce Banners (Beatrice & Betsy) that are going to enter week 6 in 2 days. /Sativa Leaning - My day meds
And little Zkittles (Zoey) is exactly 2 weeks and 1 day behind the big girls. / Indica Leaning - My night meds

Growing under a full spectrum 200w UFO Grow Light. And a smaller full spectrum light for the little Zoey lower to the bottom of the tent to have added. Seems to be working great!

Almost Everything has been done the same to all plants.
Started in H20 soak, then I direct sowed into the Jiffy Peat Pellets kept in humidity dome. BB's
1st Zkittlez did not fair through the same H20 soak for 48 hrs.
So Zoey was then started 2 weeks behind, soaked 24 hrs, then direct sowed to the peat pellet. "seemed to germ faster that way"? Not sure if it is strain or not?

Growing with Fox Farms Organics Ocean Mix.
3 gal fabric pots
FF Grow Big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom.
FF Bush Doctor Cal Mag "This comes today" I'm a little slow on some things lol.. But I have not seen any issues so hopefully I can get them some tonight.
*Growing all by what I have researched follow the directions,. but begin with half doses beginning about week 2 or 3 due to the contents in this particular soil. And then go full strength for the Bloom/ Flowering stages.
*Oh ya and growing on a 20/4 schedule!

Up for comments or concerns, and any basic advice..

Why are the leaves wet?
They are not, lol I asked the same Austin a week ago..
Got the auot female seeds from seedconnect in AZ where I grew up and is recreational now.
Both BB ladies are the exact same everything.. One has shiny leaves and fuller with more even colas after some LST from week 3 to week 5 kinda.. lol
Then the sisters just blew up, one is long and kinda stringy looking with dull looking leaves, her sister Beatrice started slow, but blew up after LST and now bushy and twice the full colas..
I defoliate daily if needed to keep the girls open.. But have no idea why they are so different!
I can only conclude maybe they have different mothers?
Open for ideas, but I can tell you Beatrice is way more of a drinker than Betsy! Lol

Idk I think it's a good idea, my tomatoes get it all the time.. Bud rot, so I dry my farm chicken egg shells them grind them and to top the soil with them? It already solved the problem, but what that for my flower? What do you suggest, please don't use the metric system lol

Blossom end rot in tomatoes Imo comes from uneven moisture levels.Disease also comes from rain splashing ground pathogens onto the plant.I use landscaping fabric and straw mulch and never see end rot or fusarium wilt.I don't add any calcium. All those products you listed plus cal mag at full strength will cause problems right in flower when you don't want it .Use all sparingly instead of going full strength.GL

That's very good advice. I do live in a climate where it goes from Dry and cool to very moist and humid at times. Then crashes into the colder temps frequently. I have tried to keep the fresh air coming in and also control the humidity. It is an indoor grow, so I suppose I do not need to worry as much for my indoor plants.

I also recently obtained a better PH meter, Vivosun brand. It works great. I had a soil tester before, and well I have not idea if it was working properly or not. But I do not think so.

So back to the Calmag, I did add one dose to a gallon of water that day. But yes I did see they may have been getting too many nutrients after I woke the next morning. And according to my research the leaves began to claw unusually high, seemed that might have been the issue. But I think we made it through. I let them dry out completely. Luckily they are thirsty girls, so I was able to give them a half gallon of H2o today. They are thriving and smelling and looking amazing.
Also got my jewelers loop to take some cool a** pics. :bigjoint:

Here is my first total dry weight on Betsy. Newbie mistake, pulled her to early... lol still good smokey, but lil grassy still..
And twin sister Beatrice will be harvested today!!
Amazing grow! Looks great!
You would do well to cure that bud if it's a bit grassy. A few weeks in burped jars will fix that.

Oh what id give for those humidity levels (I live in a place where it’s usually around 90% outside). Love the zkittlz strain, good luck with that beauty.
If I may ask, what kind of tent size did you use to get 3 plants? I’m still on my first grow and I thought I could get 2 plants in a 80x80 cm box but my gorilla glue ended up taking up the whole space, had to use another 80x80 for the second girl as she was germinated a month later and couldn’t share the tent with the first.
