Here is my baby mutant

So here is my mutant Glueberry OG seedling. Seems to be self topping. At least the side branches look like they are pushing out some. Fun fun fun....View attachment 4274848 View attachment 4274849
I recently had a seedling from a cross I made (lvtk x tangerine power) that did this same thing.

It started out a twisted leaf mutant but then shoot out normal looking leaves until the 3 node and then it stalled out. Topped itself basically so I cut that top off so the bottom nodes would grow. Here he/she is now.
Sorry I thought I had a pic of the whole plant but it is just a close up.

I figure I am going to just let the side shoots push out without cutting the top. Unless it doesnt seem to be doing much side branching and the top leaf just keeps stretching. I have had the crinkled leaf mutants, never one of these. Gotta love nature. Or blueberry genetics. Or OG genetics. Or Dutch Passion

Any thoughts on topping? It would be topping at the first node. You can see how close the cotyledons are to it

From clone?? and the mother didn't show the same trait?
That's correct. The mom was a stunning plant and showed no mutations of any sort, clone topped itself at 2nd node and grew 2 fatty branches. I was able to take some good clones off their and those didnt show the self topping so it only happened to the one plant. Weird.

Eventually, whether it is this plant or a clone. Have a couple different strains going. Looking for any new mothers I want to keep. Its getting some side growth. The leaves are definitely getting bigger, but so is the top one. I may trim the top leaf a little to bring in more light

Here is an update of the mutant. Never topped it. Just let the sidebranching happen naturally. It is the shortest plant so far but that is only due to no main cola.
