So I did my own googling and found out they actually did research studies on this. Apparently it depends on how the antidepressant works, but it can either increase the effects or decrease depending on the antidepressant. According to the research studies (I'll have to go diving again to find them if ya'll are so inclined to read them) hers will decrease the effects. I'm just popping up here to see if any of ya'll have the same situation or know someone in the same situation. She has smoked Mary J and had no problems, she also smokes cigs. Secondary question, for those of you who do/know someone who does trip on antidepressants, have you/they smoked (Mary J or cigs) while tripping? I read that the antidepressant can effect blood circulation (true?) and from experience I know that trips can make things pretty exciting so I was worried about a synergy of increased heart rate effects. Though that is just me doing pseudoscience and theorizing worse case scenarios.
