Herbies NORTHERN LIGHT AUTO/ STEALTH SPEAKER BOX / CLOSET GROW

So I had another thread in grow room setup that showed my stealth speaker box and what it looked like. Got my Herbies order a few days ago and immediately germinated just one seed with the paper towel method... Popped within 24 hours and planted into HAPPY FROG soil that I obtained from a local hydro shop for $16! Can't beat that price!!
Within 48 hours she's up and looking beautiful! I plan to document and journal my grow with pics in hopes to get feedback / advice and pass on any info to others . Never hurts to help the next guy! Also I have another speaker that's identical that I may sell in the future to someone who wants to make a similar or same setup! Just got 1 plant. So you can follow my thread and my journey to see what results I get out of it :)hoping for the best! :)))

How long til first set of leaves on these autos? Like when does actual veg kick in and can I go to 18/6 now? Seedling had been out for at least 48 hours.

I've also heard that height will or may become an issue? But I thought the northern light was mainly indica and not supposed to grow super tall. I've never done lst before but may need to look into it? Thoughts?

the first week possibly 2 is slow the plant lays down roots then takes off ...... you can go 18/6 now or 24/0 or what ever ..... you might possibly have to lst it to keep it short .... also pulling the top down will give you a nice flat canopy which is how you get the most out of your cfl setup

Yeah I believe I will give that lst a try . Doesn't look too awful hard. And while it's on this stage how often were you watering it? I've been sticking my finger down about twice a day about 2-3 inches and using a mist spray bottle to water. Also my temps inside are about 78 with light and fan on so I'm not sure what they'd be off probably in mid 60's .... So is that ok if I were to do 18/6?

Better to give them a good watering then leave alone for a few days. Don't over think it and definitely dont over water.

By spraying just the surface you are encouraging the roots to grow towards the surface only. A good method is to water around the edges to encourage root growth or just give her a good soak. The first few weeks you will likely just water once or maybe twice.
