Hempy method

With the hempy method can you start your seeds directly in peralite and go from there?

When I tried hempy I started in a small block of Rockwool. Then inserted into perlite a few days later. But I see no reason it wouldn’t work other than the fact that straight perlite may dry out faster then you would like?

I would suggest to start in rockwool or a peat plug....or even a small amount of soil....but it may work just directly in the perlite

I start in rapid rooters.

If you are growing hempy style with perlite and vermiculite, you can start the seeds in plain vermiculite.
