helppp smell

hello, first grow here im useing a rubber maid tote thingy as a grow box (got 4 cfls in there and a plant in the 2nd weed of vegg) i have a pc case fan at the bottom for intake and a pc case fan on the lid for outake and im worried about the smell my idea was to cut up a 2 liter bottle into a tube put a screen in there and put a bed of carbon in that and put it on the outtake fan (air will blow though the carbon) will this idea work to kill the smell? and i heard about - and + pressure in there and smell will leak out in the cracks and not the filter? any help in welcome thanks

With a rubermaid tote, you should be able to get a decent seal. I think your idea would probably work well.
