Help!

I have a plant that hasn't really been doing well from the start. it has consistently grown slower than the rest and is about to get left behind/die. i don't know what to do about it. my other four are doing fairly well despite my best efforts. i started them from a mixed bag of seeds so I'm not sure of sex or strain. i noticed today another plant is kinda starting to sag a bit. I'm currently running two air pumps, one 170gal and one 20-60 gallon, into that one res with four air stones making sure the coverage is even so i really don't think they are starving for oxygen. not to mention only two are having problems. oh and the roots are stark white. what is going on with them?! (ps dont mind the fact that the temp says 81. that is not my operating temp. it just creeps up if i stay in the closet for too long)

how old are they?

Have you started nutes?

What's your PH?

what kind of water?

What are your res temps?

what lights are you running? 24/0 18/6 ?

All are good questions, your plants look fine to me. Even if they were the same genetics you could be seeing a diferent pheno.
Relax

You may want to do some light management on your res. Keep an eye out for slime.

They are 18 days old now. The pH fluctuates between 5.6 and 6.4. It's been on the higher end lately and I can't figure out why it keeps going up so fast. I may need to increase the res size. They are all sharing a 5 gallon tub at the moment. I'm running the lights at 18/6 I have one 400watt MH that I'm running at 75% due to issues with heat. I keep the res temp below 70 at all times with frozen bottles. And yes I have started nutes but I'm only up to 1/2 strength bc my ppm meter isn't here yet.

That one in the front looks fine? I keep expecting it to go ahead and croak lol

It's not looking all that healthy. Consider getting some soil and transplanting. Some plants can't handle the same level nutes. That one is pretty small for 1/2 strength nutes IMO.

Dude not every seed is going to be a winner. You should cull out the weaklings and focus on the strong ones. Maximize the most healthy.

I am. I'm moving them to separate 5 gallon buckets as soon as my new ph meter (i broke the old one) and ppm meter arrive. I think that will solve many problems before they happen. The little guy is gonna have to go.

Good call. Try to get your hands on some fem seeds from a breeder. They generally have a higher success rate. Good luck brother.
