Help

I have started my first grow in a 4 x4 cupboard put tinfoil top,sides all around had my seeds in papertowel waiting to grow put them in when sproted but only 1 have came up i am using the new light the kind that we use for conseving engry today i have 5 lights which equal 500 watts will these lights work?i keep my lights on for 12hrs a day can someone help me out please thanks
