so hears my dilema...i've been away from my girl since dec 2 and returned today.....i had someone taking care of her ( noob).

When i left she was about 1.5 ft tall and begining the flowering process....i returned to find her about 4 inches tall and budded....my friend informed me that about 2 weeks ago the buds looked like nice cotton tips......then there was a spider mite infestation and that was taken care of.....

so here i am and pistons are about 60 percent brown but i dont see as much trichonomes as i think there should be.....so should i chop her....i've done extensive research and came across an article that spoke of trichs swelling then dieing off....

ami too far past reasonable time of choping her....or should i wait at least one more week to see anychanges

bye the way while i was gone i had informed my friend to use superbloom when feeding and they forgot so is there any harm in that....:wall:

from what i read you have been flowering since dec 2. if they were already showing, feb 2 would be 8 weeks i think. depending on the strain, you will have at least 8-10 weeks of flowering before they are ready. normally you want 80% brown pistols, 20% white. also, you have to watch a bit too because you will be able to notice most growth stopping. you are not past the 'reasonable ' harvest time.. like i said i think you have at least 2 weeks to go.. if you are thinking you will chop soon (within 2-3 weeks) start feeding just water and molasses (unsulfrated 1 tbsp i believe per gallon of water). do not give it any more nutrients or the bud will taste like crap. as far as why you dont have a ton of trics, i have no clue there. i can honestly say though i have never seen a plant lose its trics.. i even saw one plant get harvested and the bottom half was re vegged. the trics stayed on the lower buds that were left for at least a month or 2 after the plant had been in the veg stage. i have no clue why you dont have a ton of trichomes at this stage of the game :( btw, if you have access to a 35x+ magnifying glass or microscope, check the trichomes out. they should be mainly cloudy with a few amber in color if you want a cleaner high. 50% amber 50% cloudy if you want couchlock high.. if they are mainly clear and some cloudy, you have a ways to go..
