Help!!!

I need massive help. I think my plant may be dying. I have it under 2 45 Watt CFLs and right now it's only a baby seedling with the 2 first leaves that sprout up. I germinated it and then moved it into a 3 gallon pot with potting soil... I think I may have watered it too much or given it too much nutrients. Is it possible for me to save it? I am also using Fox Farm soil and Pure Blend Pro Grow Nutes. I am not sure how much water or nutes to give a plant and when. I have tried searching around but everyone seems to recommend giving it very little water and I fear that having a big pot for such a little plant would require more water... am I wrong?

I wouldn't give it nutes so early. I've read people don't give it nutes until it grows a little more.

I got a little impatient haha. So what can I do to help it. Currently I just watered it down with water (no nutes) to hopefully wash away some of the nutes.

Nothing really...but talk to it nicely with a soft voice and wait. Let the dirt dry out. less water is better than too much.

I wouldn't have transplanted a seedling until it grew up a little bit. You may have stressed it.

Other than that, I have no info. I'm a newbie grower. Sorry I couldn't help more.

almost a better idea to put very young plants like what you have in to a 1/2 or 1 gal bag so watering is easier. but since you already have it transplanted you want to water the 1st week or so with little to no n utes and just enought to keep the soil moist. Not wet, not mud. If you think you nute burned d/c feeding and let her grow another leaf set or so before resuming. next time start with a smaller container andlet her grow a bit before putting in her perm home.

I was thinking that same exact thing with the bag... I will do something like that next time. Thanks for all the help guys! I think my plant is actually recovering because the leaves are no longer curling/sagging down, so lets see! I'll keep you guys posted.

...and he sends good juju your plant's way, too, but wants me to tell you if your plant dies, he'll come over and eat it in a heartbeat. He's the only cat I know that will eat a pot plant, but will leave a dried bud sitting out completely alone.
