Hi All...
I had most of ny plants blow over about a week ago due to heavy winds. I straightned them up with some bamboo steaks and added some plain soil with no additives. I just broke up some soil around the base of 3 of the plants and to my horror i noticed that there are white worms/maggots in the soil and are eating around the base of the stalks!!! What do I do now? My plants look good otherwise except for the top of one which looks burnt brown.

Please help---pics to follow.

Are you sure they are not grubs? Just can't imagine maggots growing under a pot plant, they almost always do it in trash or fecies. Regardless of what they are I would remove them. Awaiting your pics.

i dont know but i thought i seen what looked like a white worm.. you should go to a hydro shop n buy this stuff called Catepillar Killer by Safer. you add it to water n give it to them.. i had some problems with bugs in my soil for my indoor grow n that shit got rid of them quick..gl..

Yeah the pics arent the best but I was sure you could see the eating away of the stalks at the bottom. I'll get the Safer stuff and thanks alot.
