Help with the Lighting decision guys!Plz Help!

Hey everyone at RIU!

I'm thinking of buying this lighting kit:

High Pressure Sodium 400 w light kit

I'm going for the High Pressure Sodium 400 w light kit BUT instead of the 400w HPS bulb i'll be going with a Conversion bulb MH.

Is this right? I'm a little confused, So if i place this order I'll get:
1. Ballast
2. Reflector
3.MH bulb instead of the HPS one

. So i'll buy a sepprate 400W HPS bulb and have pretty much both systems , one for vegging , and then for the flowering state. Is this ok? Plz comment ur ideas. Reason i chose this website is because im gonna be in canada and htgsupply doesnt ship there

Get the HPS ballast, but run a Ceramic Metal Halide instead. It's a one lamp solution.

I checked the link bro but didnt realy understand what a ceramic lamp is...srry for soundin noobish man but what is this exactly?
whats the advantage?

I don't have any experience with ceramic metal halide, but I do have a 400w HPS
in a 4'x4' space, and it seems to be doing fine. Here's my whole lighting setup:

400watt Sun System magnetic ballast
Super Sun 2 air cooled fixture
Eye Hortilux Super HPS bulb (flower)
Eye Hortilux Metal Ace MH conversion bulb (veg)

I keep it cool with a Vortex inline fan. Plenty of light, no heat issues. This is a
top of the line 400w, so it was kind of expensive. I'm sure you can find a cheaper
one that is just as good at HTGsupply, but let me know if you have any more
questions about this setup.

Save your extra 40$ and get a Lumatek 600 watt. Your buds will love it. Trust me i upgraded from 400 HPS...

the ceramic light meter looks awesome. Do they make them for the 600?
