I have 5 Vortex, 5 Agent Orange, and 5 FEM Strawberry Diesel seedling 1.5weeks old, ready for transplant into 1 gal pots of Roots.

Im cool with doing this except Subcool said that Roots is really fucken hot right now ( because of a compony inconsistency ) and has been burning his plants by making his SS hotter than normal.

Will the batch of Roots Organic soil thats going around right now fry my little seeds? or am I okay?

Seedling roots are about .5inch out the bottom of Rapid Rooters, Im sure they are ready now.

mine got burnt

I started 12 seeds and transplanted them into roots organics soil with a little bit of Rainbow grow fertilizer and 6 of the plants were burnt so bad they ended up dying.

This is my first post to Rollitup Forums however I am far from a beginner with 20 years of experience. I can address your question with some recent experiences I have had when transplanting my clones/seedlings (Clonex + Rapid Rooter plugs) (photo 1). I grow in Roots Soil and use the Roots Organics Master Feeding Schedule with only one additional product (Cal-Mag). I do transplant my “root sprouted” clones/seedlings into Roots Organics - Roots Potting Soil cut with 1/3 Big Worm (worm castings) and 1/3 Coco fiber, (photo2) I and 1 tbs of Roots Organics Oregonism XL around root mass (photo 3 and 4). All of this is layered into 1 gallon Roots Pots and watered with chlorine free water for 2 weeks. I have experienced a slight leaf tip burn and leaf yellowing but after 1 week all new vegetation is lush, green and quickly growing. After two weeks I begin the Master Feeding Schedule and follow it to the T. All that to say - Yes it will burn but all you need is a few mild additives worm poop and coco fiber/chips and your good to go.

I just made a bacth exactly like sub's recipe. except insted of bio-biz i used roots soilless hydro cocofiber mix.

I will see if it burns my plants, I am hoping it dont burn them, i followed his recipe

Thank you everyone for your answers.

Im going to fill my 1 gal pots with Roots, then mix in a top layer of soil that is completely void of any nutrients, just like you would do for a transplant into Subs SS.

Hope it doesn't fry them anyways...

you can also cook the roots, similar to super soil.

simply dump the bag into a rubbermaid or trash can and add some water, then let it sit for a month or so (if you can afford to purchase soil before hand)

OK, just picked up some Bio-Bizz Light mix... Going to mix 50/50 with the Roots.

Again thank you everyone and, Sub if you see this again thank you for the weednerd, with out that show I would have fried $300 worth of seeds blindly using Roots soil.

Its all good bro we have to look out for each other!
My Plants are very happy with the 50/50 mix so when I make super soil this weekend with the same hot ass Roots I am going 1-1 roots and allmix light even when making super soil.

Kush dog, Make sure you let your super soil cook the right amount of time or it won't be live and will be hot as well! Sounds like you may have just finished? :)

I took my bubbakush clone in a root roit cube, filled a contaner with ROOTS organic soil, but i put a 1" buffer of promix, it is working great, Only a small amount of nute burn on a tip of one leave
