HELP with Nutrient SWITCH..GH to AN

k so im using some general hydroponics in veg that i had left over from my last grow and i only watered my plants with 60% strength twice and now its almost gone..ima flower in a few days so can i start using my Advanced Nutrients micro and bloom for flowering? or should i get more general hydroponic micro bloom..?? if its ok to start using the AN line should i try to flush out the general hydroponic chemicals out of my soil before adding the AN chemicals

You should be totally fine. People mix nute brands all the time. I use foxfarm in veg and an in flower. I usually give a good watering with good runoff before I start my flower nutes, there are different npk ratios, so I try to get rid of excess nitrogen and such as too much is not needed for flowering etc... I don't know if that is 100% necesary but that's what I do and have had no problems. Hope that helps

Yeah, you shuold be okay with mixing up your nutes, though try to use less Advanced nutrients at first so that you're not overwhelming the plants with too many changes.

Or you might want to talk to AN, either by calling their customer service line or emailing them. They would know best, I think.

I just ifnd that having one nutrient regiment is a lot easier on me and my inability to remember what I need to do with each nute...at least the AN calculator just tells me what to do...

And I blindly follow it....LOL

thanks for the responses ima add bud blood a couple times then do a light flush and start adding the new micro grow bloom nutrients
