help with nutrient for turbo kloner

OK well I've got a turbo cloner and absolutely love it, but I'm having issues with keeping my girls healthy while they root, I know I need some type a nutrients to go in the rez, but I have no idea what, and I'm 100% organic so I'm completely ignorant to all this hydro stuff!

I use rapid start in my cloner now, what's cheap and will give my girls the proper nutes they need to finish rooting and stay healthy? I'd prefer something that will go with my rapid start! and preferably something that will cover the macro nutrients as well!

thanks in advance!

They don't need nutes to "root". proper environment, vpd, humidity, temps etc will keep them healthy enough to root. Some people use domes for this,I don't..I have a diy areocloner not a turbokloner, but they are based on the same general principles.
If they are yellowing to fast for you BEFORE they have roots, they are being hit with too much light and are putting their energy into photosynthesis instead of rooting.
Shade them with bigger plants u have vegging.Or,lower the light intensity.

Once they do root, mine get the same nute dose the other girls get. 4gs Megacrop per gal. That is if,they have to been in the cloner longer than usual AND I want them to grow. They do just fine with tap water for weeks in my space and environment.

mine root fine as well, no issues there, but after about 2 weeks in the cloner even with roots they start to look a lil sick, and I'm trying to avoid that! that's way when I plant them there is less shock, and they can take off running!

Ahh ok. Yea,two weeks in a cloner without food and strong light will have them hungry. No special nutes needed,a lower dose(ppm) of your veg nutes will suffice. Or,adjust the strength of feed to light intensity and desired growth rate.
Less intense lower ppm=healthy and slowing growing awaiting their veg pot.
High intensity reg feed=growing fast as fuck in the cloner and telling your veg plants to hurry up and move!

I've already deleted them from my device, but I had 12 clones from a week 5(from flip)plant in flower. Once rooted,I slid the areocloner into the flower room in the corner on the floor of the tent under the large flowering mothers. They rooted and were and started to continue their fliwering griwth.Same 4gs per gal of MC once they rooted. I binned them,I was just ecperimenting.

that's the thing, I've always been 100% organic, so I have no idea what to get, I have to go buy some kinda nutes, so I figured why not get exactly what's made for this!

I don't own a single thing that comes in a bottle, lol always been proud of that, but this aero cloner is just the shit! so I'll sacrifice being like 98% organic! lol

I'd slow them down by moving them to a more shaded area or raising the light.
The light's intensity is your foe in this instance.
iirc you are in sips. Once they root, transplant to some of your sip soil and water only. That should keep them happy until you need them.

lol,yea I had just remembered who I was talkin to. So,once they are rooted good enuff to transplant,do so in your potting mix. No need to go to the bottle.

Mega crop is a good 1 part nute mix. It's also a dry powder. They have a free sample you can try. That is if you decided to buy nutes.

I honestly don't mind have a small cheap bottle on hand, just for this, bc some of my strains seem to take for ever to get a nice set of roots! and with my soil I really need a decent set of roots in order for her to make it! which is why on average my girls sit in the cloner for about 14-21 days, so I'd just feel better having just a Lil something to keep them happier until they make it into my soil! I was also looking at hormex, I'm thinking it would help, if I have any trouble when transplanting, bc my rooting is 100% but some times I lose cuts going from aero, to soil too fast! but that's not a nutrient, that's more if a oh shit I screwed up, hopefully it will help lol!

Megacrop,Dyna-gro shit even maxi-bloom is economic for what you need.14-21 days in a cloner? Roots should be hanging and trying to get into your pump and trying to cover your misters.Might be environmental. Damn I wish I had the pics. I have some on my other device.I get near unmanageble roots in that time frame
They entangle each other,so much so I root prune before potting.
Yes,Megacrop will suffice. If you are having issues establishing a nice root set,IME and IMO It's environmental.

yeah pretty much, but that's the way they seem to like it! Idk if it's bc of my soil, but usually at least 6in roots. here's an old pic, using plain tap, and recommended dose of rapid start!CM181123-171600002.jpg

I love my Turbocloner.

I use Dynagro KLN in the reservoir to encourage rooting and keep them under low light. Since I'm re-vegging I keep the light cycle 18/6. Clones can not absorb nutrients prior to having roots so putting nutrient in the reservoir is useless as is bothering to pH the reservoir.

However if you have your clones under brighter lights you can foliar feed to avoid yellowing. Heat will also slow down rooting. I don't bother foliar feeding. I don't care if they fade a bit they make it all up when they hit coco.

I can't comment on that one in particular, I've floranova bloom Lucas formula with success.
GH have good products.Actually most products will work for what you need in particular. It will be a temporary feed situation right?
