Help with new crop(17 weeks)noob

Ok I need some help please. I planted 2 plants back on May 22 and we are now about 17 weeks into the growth. I have no idea what types of stran they are. The 2 plants have some nice buds on them and I dont know when I should dry them out. One of the plants is growing a lot better then the other. Both of the plants bottoms are starting to turn yellow. I read that this could be normal at this stage of growth. I have tried to do all my reading but I am just not sure. I am on the east cost and they have been getting about 12hr 40min of sun (as of today). We have had alot of rain this season. The buds are decent size. I want to say the buds have purple and white hairs coming out of them. The leaves and the buds have tonz of white crystals on them mostly towards the tops of the plants.

What I want to find out from this post is how have I done and how much longer do I have?

I will post the pics that I have on me now and when I get my camera I will post the ones that I took this weekend. Thanks for your help!

looks okay to me did you throw that right in the ground or is it in a pot or bag buried under the ground?


flowers kinda look a little small how long has it been flowering?

Flowering a few weeks maybe? I had some seeds and I just planted them. Just been waiting. So you say 1 more month? Its going to start getting cold soon. Should I digg them up and stick in a pot with some lights?
 
atleast a month.... you can bring it in at night or something but id say you could still finish it out into october... how north are you?


im guessing new england area?
 
I live in boston. I would rather bring them in, what type of light should I use for the 2 plants? I want to bring them in so I can do the 12/12. Im just worried that I will kill them in the move.
 
na there super resilient plants people do that all the time you need an hps or a shit load of cfls if you can get the hps

like 400w

250 at the least
 
Ok its starting to get cold around here and I want to dig up my plants and put them in the bacement. All I have is an 60W Halogena Flood Light. Will this work? if you can let me know so I can go dig the girls up.

Their she is my 2 girls. How muck longer? Should I pull them up? Why is it taking so long I planted these Late May. The temps are starting to get down to the 40's at night.
 
it dosnt matter when you planted em, just when the season of flowering starts where you live

id say its still got sum time atleast a couple more weeks, but your better off leaving em out there if you dont got the right lights to supplement it inside
 
regardless of when you planted them, outdoor plants flower at the same time. It's all about light schedule, you have to be patient! Buy a microscope and check out the trichs. Read the grow faq, top left as well...

You know of any good sites were I can get the lighting system?
