Help with my grow room

I am a first time grower and i need to know if my grow room will work. I have a 10x10 metal shed out in the back and i live in Socal, keep in mind its winter atm. my main question is With the proper tools and set up will i be able to grow some ok-good weed? Or will i find the weather to not allow the plants to grow and just die? If it is possible please list the tools i will need to make this grow room happen.

Honestly common sense should answer this, go stand in the shed for 10 minutes, could u survive? NO!!! You need to do a lot of work to it FIRST before you can consider it. Don't forget if you open the door after dark with the lights on the whole neighborhood is gonna know. If you do not understand how insulation is the ONLY way this could work, you should probably get some DIY books and watch the DIY channel for a long long time.

i live in socal and right now in the winter time yes you COULD grow in the metal shed.... but in the summer, insulation or not, you'll never be able to keep your temps regulated without introducing a/c to the whole equation. at which point your electricity bill will sky rocket!!! the plants you grow will only be as good as you grow them.

heres what you do if you really want to grow in a metal shed....

insulate the shit out of the shed by any means necessary. then i recommend using large styrofoam panels to seperate your veg and flower area within your shed. then you need to put some sort of doors or light traps to each area so that when you open your shed door you dont advertise to the world whats going on. buy your equipment and start growing. run your flower area so that the lights are on at night and off during the day to help keep temps regulated. and when summer time comes, buy an a/c for your shed or move your grow indoors.

you can figure out what else you need. if youre not willing to do the research necessary to build your grow room and find the materials you need on your own..... then i wouldnt even attempt a shed grow. start smaller and work your way up. this isnt rocket science but you can definately fuck things up if you dont know what youre doing.

and just so you know people get kinda irratated when somebody asks questions they can easily find the answers to. you will learn alot just by reading threads. try finding beginner grow journals and many of the questions you have will be answered throughout the journal.
