Help with Lighting pleaseeee

This is the light I bought for my first grow. I'm using the "1200" watt light and I'm using it in a 48x24x60 grow tent with three plants.
I know this isn't the best light, so I was considering buying a new light for my next grow.
Would it be a completely dumb idea to just buy the same light again and use them together, or would you suggest upgrading to an entirely different light?
Any advice is appreciated.

I don't like the LED's with the fans built in. From what I heard and understand is that the inside of where the fans are gets dirty which will cause Issues. I am weary of buying cheap LED's to begin with as well. Maybe someone else can recommend a better, inexpensive option. I like the Growers choice LED's.

I didn't realize that! Thanks for letting me know.

God no, don't buy another, keep the one you have for vegging seedlings, thats it for 80 watts of blurple.
160 watts for 2x4 isn't enough either.

The other version, FSGTEK 1200, has a higher output, that may work for you.
Generally Blurple is the wrong spectrum for flowering, too much blue and red makes the plant grow all wonky

I can't figure out why they put so few Bridgelux chips in there, so many Epiled chips for uv/ red/ blue.
Probably good for succulents or lettuce, not flowering pot.

I appreciate the advice. Any recommendations based off my tent size?

Just figure minimum 30-40 watts per sq ft if you want actual pot with nice buds.
Yea, this is the one I have.
You have the 250 watt version, so that may do the job for you.
Was wondering how you got 3 plants on 80 watts before.

250 watts min. for a 2x4, full spectrum.
HLG quantum boards/ Meijiu knockoffs, plenty of good stuff out there.
Check the Chinese quantum board knockoff thread for the latest.

W an extra light (the same one) would it be better? Or it still isn't enough whatever kind of chips you said lol?
I know I want to add more light. Struggling with deciding to buy an entirely new light or just drop another hundred and get the same light to add to the space.

Too much heat for that short tent probably. 500 watts in a 5 foot high tent.
Still too much red/blue spectrum for flowering, but most Blurples work well for veg.

If you plan on staying in one tent 2x4 for now, then do supplemental white strips/ boards above or on the side.

Thanks! I didn't even know that was an option. I'll look into them. I appreciate it!

Any pics please
These are some pics of the ladies. I've overfed them, so I'm trying to correct that mistake. Other than that, they seem ok?
I am half tempted to just do my second run with the same light or maybe add the boards that the above person mentioned.
I know my light is a cheap one, so I feel like it could be better....but not too bad for a cheap light, right?
