Hello I have a tent that is 48x24x60, I plan on a 1 plant scrog grow. I was wanting to know if I should stay with a 400 watt hps or try a 4ft x 6bulb T5 light in that size tent. Or maybe even try a UFO led grow.
Help with light choice.

If you're from anywhere near I'm from you can pick those up for $420 plus tax which is roughly $455. Worth every penny.

I suggest the Apollo 300's from amazon. You could get 2 for under $300 they would definitely cover your area and and produce no heat and they pull 170 watts ea.

Where is your tent going to be and is it ventilated with inline fans? I have a clw solarstorm 400 and a 400 watt hps. I find that I get slightly better yield with my hps but slightly better buds outta the led. If heats not an issue and want most bang for your buck up front, go hps. If you have the money to get a decent led and want frosty nugs or heat is an issue. Go led. Led is also more ideal for hydro systems

go digital mh/hps ballast so u can grow n bloom in the tent..400 watt plent for a 4x4x2 area

leds are good came along good theres some really good leds out there also some shit i use 2 180w leds vipar i think nothing to right home to mum and dad about but does the job good i use them veg and hps flower for autum winter spring and led all the way thru in summer

What they using in denver?
I know if they are commercial and use LEC 315 they get a nice little tax break and the lights work well.

Anybody can come on here and speculate. I'm just asking for corroboration of your claims. If you're talking out of your butt, just say so. We have a lot of people that talk out of their ass here, it's OK. Just don't present it as fact, that's all.
