Help with info on LATE hermie plant, started showing signs at week 9

I have a sativa dominant trainwreck in full bloom that just started showing male bits here and there at week 9. By the looks of things, this sativa would take around 12 weeks to finish up and the buds arent very dense right now. But, im tempted to just chop it because i have 4 other plants that i dont want to risk pollinating.
Before i do that though i want to know some things:
First, how long do pollen sacs take to mature and then drop pollen? Right now i am picking them off while they are young. They look alot like calayx's, just no hair or triches on them, but if i could safely wait longer to make sure that i am really looking at banana's, then i wouldnt worry about pollination.
Also, is it comon for male bits to grow inside of calyx's?

im tempted to try that but, i heard that pollen can get into your growroom on your clothes etc, besudes making a cab just for one girl wouldnt be worth it really
to bad cause this plant is producing loads of resin.
I think the only option is to learn how to spot pollen sacs with 100% accuracy and pic them as they come. Its not shooting very man that i can see... maybe 2-5 a day
any tips on this?

then if u cant isolate it chop it dont try removing pollen wont work chop that shemale plant

If your checking your plants all the time and picking the male parts when you see them you'll probably be okay to finish the grow with he/she in there. If you don't know what they truely look like, it won't kill you this one time to see the real thing on a real plant.

Once you see the actual "bananas" its too late, and the pollen has been released. It all depends on your circulation on how bad it messes up your grow, and in my experience if its tightly compacted buds it probably will only wound the immediate area, giving you some seeds to pick out for your next grow attempt. That's if your okay with not having "sensimilla".

I know a few people who have managed to grow some killer, seeded weed from late hermies. My first grow germie'd in week 11 of flowering - I put off harvesting for as long as I could until I just got sick of picking male bits off.

As the others said - isolate it if you can. Otherwise it will pollinate the other plants. Half decent weed can still be grown from it, but it probably won't be brilliant. My first grow made some killer cheesecake though; so hash, oil and butter are always options. I also found that after 3 weeks of curing it started tasting really nice (not so much before then).

Your experience may be different, but there's what I've learnt.

Edit: If I were you I'd probably chippity-chop now if I couldn't isolate it, and by the time it's dried and well-cured, the other plants should be ready to go. There's nothing to stop you mixing the different strains after curing. The head-high stuff people talk about with early harvests is very strange compared to the "normal" high.

thanks for all the comments. Last night i gave in and chopped her down, the wet wieght was 83 grams so im expecting nearly an ounce. The buds are airy so i compacted them and hung them. I smoked some and it is pretty strong stuff with a good high. There were very few sacs, maybe 2 per bud, but not worth seeding her/him or my 4 other girls

sounds like u made the right choice
