Help with heat issue(s)

So my grow closet is 52" deep, 42" wide, 89" tall. I have a dresser in the closet that i'm growing in. I'm using 12 23w-27w CFLs. Inside the dresser the temp is usually 80-90 degrees (too hot I know). I currently have 2 intakes and 2 exhausts in the dresser. The only other thing I'm doing is leaving the closet door open to help. My room (next to closet) is about the same as outside temp (no A/C). In the ceiling of the closet is a 2 foot long by 1 foot wide opening to the attic. I currently have a fan up there acting as an exhaust for the whole room. My question is.....would the air in the attic be any cooler than the air I'm giving it by having the closet door open? The current temp outside is 76 degrees. I know in the winter the air in the attic will be cold, but for now, would it be just as hot (or hotter) than outside? I'm just looking for a way to keep it cool while having the closet door closed. If I can get the overall closet temp down, then the intakes should bring in cooler air. Sorry if it's kind of hard to get what I mean........stoned and what-not. Thanks for any help. Ask questions if needed also.

thats what I'm thinking. it should be fine in the winter, was just wondering if i can benefit off of it now.

I had heat issues in my PC grow, so what i did was cut a piece of plexiglass and fit it underneath my lights(4 cfl's) and now my temps are alot better...Also, vented my exhaust so that it wasn't being sucked back in my fresh air fan.

This is exactly what I want to do. Just need some ducting and a piece of plexiglass. Anybody know where to pick a cheap piece up?

Couple of things you can try.
1. I know Home Depot sells it in sheets
2. Look up a plastics store in your area. A lot of times they will have a castoff bin where you can get pieces fairly cheap.

Easy way to cut plexi. Score the plexi glass deep with a box cutter and then snap it off along the edge of something like a counter top.
