HELP WITH FEED .. NEW AT THIS

i am growing cookie Kush in coco ... now entering flower stage does anyone know what ppm reading my coco A and B feeds needs to be at before i feed my plants ... any charts or reading i should have would be great. i checked my feed earlier before feeding and it reads 650 ppm

What type of meter, ppm has different scales, I try not to go higher than 1.2 ec in my grow, plants stay healthy and green, and I tend not to get those burnt tips, some still do, but not all....here's the conversion chartppmChart-med.jpg
 
Just google it .... it's not that hard btw.

Now I am going to have my coffee and smoke this cigarette....and wake up....

That would be the Hanna section on the chart, ppm has different scales, on the chart the ec reading is on the right, the others are ppm, but they are all the same reading if that makes sense

so basically if i keep my feed at 1.2 all the way through the grow i should be fine ?

No, do some more reading, watch your plants and adjust nutrients according to how they react, light is the plants food, nutrients just help them eat it

Ya know mine is doing so much better since I started doing that! :P

The main thing is.... don't get excited....:sleep:

thanks great help... 1 last thing.. when i do my ppm reading do you get a reading of your plain water first... then add that to the reading of your water with the feed added ?

No, the end product is what matters, your plant won't care what you started with
