Help with drivers

Hi all,

I was looking to get your advice on the Mean Well HLG-320H-C1050B. I purchased 2 of these via rapidLED.com and was looking for your opinions on how many cobs (cxb3590s/vero29s) would be the best configuration with each of the drivers. I would be considering running vero29s due to the cheaper cost.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Highest Driver DC output voltage / COB forward voltage = Your answer.

305v / 36 = 8.4
So 8 CXB3590's on that driver.

Of course, maybe double check or wait for someone to confirm I'm correct before proceeding.
The CXB3590s although have a forward voltage of 36v, might 'ACTUALLY' require lower voltage at those currents. So if its something like 34.8v you may be able to use 9 COBS.

other options for good driver utility at >297V:
6 of new vero29 50V version at 50.1V each
6 citi 1818 @ 50.7V each
6 citi 1825 @ 49.6V each

36V veros and citis not as ideal of an option as they are in the 34V range and you only get 8 and waste a little driver capacity. may come out in the wash on par/$ with chip costs. 9 chips are not that much more efficient than 8 and youre buying another chip etc.

I currently already have 8 veros. This would suffice until I can afford the 8cxbs correct? Thanks again.
