Help with Design of Growlab Grow

Hello Everyone,

I have been lurking and reading for a while now on the forum and i'm getting ready to buy the equipment i need to set up my next Room. I have grown indoors before and have learned a crap load from that experience. I jumped in the first grow with out much experience, and made plenty of mistakes so that i can learn from every one of them. I did a hydro grow the 1st time with a 1000w light in a walk in closet. I live in a different place now that does not have a walk in closet so i'm going with a Growlab 145 this time around. I will be running Co2 this time, and this is where the bulk of my questions surround. My problem is with the Cooling of the tent, and i know this a common problem amongst tent growers. I would like to hear design ideas that i can use to keep the room cool and controled while using the equipment i plan to buy. This time around i will be growing in Coco and pots instead of the hydro ebb & flow pots system i used last time. Here is a list of the items i will be purchasing:

GrowLab 145: 5 x 5 x 7
1000w Quantum Digital Light & Sun Radiant 6" Reflector
CANNA Coco Nutes + Additives
CANNA Coco Medium
2 Oracle 6" Fans
6" Carbon Scrubber
Hydrofarm Portable A/C 12k BTU (have a window unit in the room where tent is also)
2 Oscillating Fans
4 25 Gal Smart Pots
Co2:
Hydrofarm Co2 20 - 50 lb Bottle
Hydrofarm Regulator
Sentinel CHHC-4 Total Climate Controller

I was thinking of air cooling the Light on it own by sucking in air from the outside and just blowing it right out, so it never sucks any air from the room, but the rest has me a bit perplexed. I have some ideas, but alot of you guys have alot of experience and i would like to hear what you think would work best. I know the room has to be sealed for the Co2 to keep a PPM level that is worth using such a system. If i missed any equipment needs please let me know what i might need to add. A dehumdifier might be needed as well, but i heard bad things about them adding unwanted heat to the room. Stealth is a very important factor for my grow, and all this will be done in a bedroom. Your ideas are much appreciated.

Thanks :-P

I recently set up a DR150 5x5 tent and had alot of the same questions as you so i'll try and help you out a big. First off, I doubt youll need the AC inside the tent. With the CO2 enriched to 1500ppm you will want to run temps in the mid 80's, if temps are lower plants cannot use the extra CO2.
In my tent I have 2 Super Sun air cooled reflectors side by side, one is a 600w hps and one a 400w CMH, cooled with a 6" vortex(on lamp timer). I have another 6" vortex for exhaust hooked up to my 6" carbonaire flter which sits inside near the ceiling of the tent. I run a passive intake using an electronically actuated 6"x10" vent I found laying around at work. Also im using a 45 pint zenith dehumidifier, which IS a MUST in a sealed room, and 20lb CO2 tank in the tent. The CO2, Dehumidifer, Intake Vent and Exhaust all plug into my green air controller. At all temps below 87 the tent is completely sealed and enriched, but when temperature exceeds set point intake/exhaust open, co2 and dehumid shut off until the tent cools down to 80. For air movement I mounted an infinite breeze oscilating fan on a custom bracket, and man I love this fan.
Here are a few issues I faced that may help you out. Originally I was afraid of the heat inside the tent, so I ran just the 600w. My temps didnt exceed 86 and it wasnt ever having to exhaust. The bedroom it is inside stays at a constant 72. I decided since heat wasnt an issue I may as well throw up on of the 400w lights I had laying around. I also used 2 6" backdraft dampers for my passive exhaust at first, but quickly found that the exhaust was too much for them.
As far as pots go, Im using 5 gallon nursery pots with coco+perlite. If I were you id reconsider the 25 gallon pots, they are WAY overkill for growing indoors, especially in coco. 10 gallon pots would be overkill also, but if you wanna go big thats as large as I would reccommend using coco.
Any for ?'s let me know. i had alot of the same things on my mind when I started setting things up.
