Help with CFL vegging

Ok so I germed 6 seeds and planted them in mircale grow soil and I have them in a small vegging are that's somewhat ghetto and unfinished. I'm just trying to get these plants started so I can move them outside soon. I have very limited space and can only fit in one cfl. Right now I have only one 14w cfl in about a 1 1/2 foot by 1 foot by 1 foot grow area. Its pretty damn bright in there and I was hoping to see sprouts by now but its been 3 and a half days and not one has sprouted. Should I wait longer, should I try and increase the wattage? Also its pretty warm in there already witht the 14w. It stays at a good 82-84. I've been keeping the top soil nice and moist with a spray bottle and still nothing. I've been trying to wire a cpu fan for intake/exhaust but no succes with a 12v charger. Any suggestions or help would be great.

go get the biggest cfl you can find 5000k or better 6500k and the most wats and get it right down on them and wait it out could take two weeks.

Oh alright. Thanks a lot. But what can I do to lower temps. Right now with a 14w cfl in there its at about 81 degrees. I've been trying to wire a cpu fan but hasn't really worked out. I don't know how eles to reduce heat. Rember this is a stealth grow too.

get a cellphone charger cut the end off, then get the insulation off the wires then match them up and your done

81 degrees is still in the okay range. Once you get above 85 degrees, that's when you can get burnt plants and stunted plant growth.

I've seen people use small portable fans that you can pick up at Wal Mart to lower temps. It also helps strengthen the stems by blowing on them. CPU fans are really loud, so a small silent one would be your best bet.

Good luck with the stealth grow. PEace.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I think tommorow I'm going to a walmart or HD or lowes or some other box store. I did exactly what you said yahweh but it just doesn't run. Its a 12v charger and 12v fan. Wierd huh? Is there any other way to lower temps other than fans??

did you hook black to black and red to red? that pretty much all you have to do, throw some electrical tape over that shit and plug it into the wall it should work..maybe somethings wrong with the charger or some shit?:joint:
