help with carbon scrubber

can anyone tell me does your carbon filter have to go up above the plants or can it go below 4 instance could i put my intake up top and out take ( scrubber) at bottom thanks in advance

AZ it scrubs all the air in the room doesn't matter where you put it.

you can do this, but it may not be a good idea. Intake should be at the bottome bringing cooler air in, exhaust up top to get rid of the hot air. You will be drawing warmer air into your grow area and heating it with a light. Unless it's really cold where you live i don't see this as a good plan.

You could have the scrubber as a separate entity as oppose to hooked up to the existing air system of course. Then it wouldn't matter. Otherwise it makes sense what wiseguy states.

Hot air rises place scrubber if hooked into exhaust at top, intake should be at bottom.
