so i built a low budget system i need to know if i am using styrofoam as a base should it float in the water with the net pots in the water or should it be just above the water supported and have just the tips (bottoms) of the net pot under water? ohhh what size net pots to get???

Forget about the Styrofoam bro. Go to Lowes and get you a $5 Rubbermaid Roughneck tote. Get the biggest net-pot you can manage.

yeah i saw those totes today, but i think mine will do.. styrofoam is gone though

1982 your plants look good but i think i figured it out i just put the germed seeds in the system.

Like someone mentioned you need to get something on that clear reservoir ASAP. Neither the roots or the solution they're marinating in should be exposed to light.
