HELP!?!?!?!?! WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY PLANT??? someone help plz

my main leave for the nodes is twisting and dying and some of the other ones are too but not as bad i've got a pic it was facing completely down when the lights went on 10 hours ago and i just had it tied up so that's why it's kinda up but went lights out and i don't help it it falls and i don't know what to do

Wow, can you please edit your question coz I can't make any sense of it.

the main leaves on the main stem one of the leaves is twisted and dying not wilted but looking gloomy. it's trying like i've seen it go up and then get tired and then go back down (this is of course within a few days) what is wrong with it? why is it droopy or or gloomy or whatever?

im going to assume when the lights are on for a while they go up and when the lights are off they go down? cuz thats totally normal

am i just high? or are you confusing as FUCK?!

i'm probably confusing as FUCK but what don't you understand and i will try and help. i mean plants aren't supposed to droop that low and be normal, and having the main leaf facing the dirt isn't normal either. the stem on the leaf is weak (i think that's why it's plopping around) if i pinch the stem (like people do on there main stem to make it bigger and stronger) will this work on this stem? or just kill it?

well it's not that i mean i know they go down then up but this is the worst leaf like if i didn't have it tied up it would be facing the dirt and i'd try and prop it up it would stay for a little bit but then face dirt again

ok well I just looked at your grow journal how many lights you got kicking in there?

i have 6 lights i have a 65 w flood light and 2 growlights daylight fluorescent tube, 3 cfl's 23 watts (gives off 100w, that's what the box said ) i was going to get a 30 w but i left my money home

first off how old are your plants could have something to do with age as the plants get older some of the leaves especially at the bottom start to go yellow and die this is normal. If you haven't had them growing that long it is probably another problem. You also might check the PH level in your nute solution. Second I would get better lights like a 400w HM for veg and a 400w sodium for flowering. The more light the better but if your room is small you will need a cool tube for your bulbs and adequate ventilation. Also how close are you lights to the plants this also will play a factor. Well peace and burn one for me the Ole Hippy DUGOUT. O yea also find one person that actually knows what they are doing and follow there guidance and when you see something on here that you think sounds like a good idea run it by the person who you trust there opinion. A lot of good info on here but a lot of people don't know what they are talking about listening to to many people can really mess you up take it from someon who has been there and done that PEACE

they are almost 4 months in like 1 week but i heard that they can live a while how long can they live up too?

and i'm using cfl's anyways so can anyone tell me how many cfl's i need? and wattage?

i would buy that light but my money budget it tight

some rough guidlines for light to go by are 50 Watts/Sq.ft. and 7000lumens/sq.ft. That is a good standard for indoor I hear. you can always do more light & you can certainly pull it off with less but those #'s are a good target. I would also say the Lumens/sq.ft is more important than the wattage/sq.ft. You could use bad lights & exceed the 50 Watts per sqare foot by a good bit and still fall short of your 7000 lumens/sp.ft. Now the lumens are a measure of light & that's what your plants need, they could really care less about what your power bill runs. & one last thing to consider is light spectrum. You could buy a totally wrong sort of light & get a ton of lumens but if all the lumens are being used up in the wrong spectrum then they are wasted. If you bought a light that was all green then you could get lumens from that & it wouldn't do the plant a bit of good. That's why growers use lights like HPS & MH. Metal halide has plenty of lumens spent in blue spectrum which helps veg & HPS has more red/orange & is better for flower.

As for floro's since it sounds like that's what you'll be using you should look into how many lumens you are getting and check out what spectrum or color temp they are. As for the tubes you can use the growlight tubes, but I've heard you can get effects just as well from using cool-white (more blue) & warm-white(more red/orange) bulbs & save money. But I can't speak from experience there. maybe someone else can.

& if I have any of my facts wrong plz correct me.

What are the "daylight flourescent tube"s ? Is that a single 4' fisture w/ 2x 40 watt T12's? or something else? what's size/wattage?

And the 65W flood light... Is that Just a generic light. Does it have any functionality for growing? If it's not floro & it's not designed for growing this is could likely be one of those lights that's almost a total waste that I mentioned above. It could be that socket & power consumption would be better used on another cfl or something else.

i bought them from walmart 20$ it's 20in with 2x20w but meant for growing there grow lights... and no the flood light is for heat and helps tem grow towards it and it's helped a bit i'd say... so your saying that the flood light is useless? all i have it a 23w but it says it equals up to 100 watts what should i be looking at? oh wait you said lumens are more important right? sorry just had a break through haha but i got a new cfl 40w = 150 w and the lumens are 2600 and on the 23w it's 1600 lumens is that ok?

Ok, well first of all... the flood light you say is for warmth. Unless you are living in the arctic circle & growing in the out-building then warmth is most likely not your friend, quite the opposite. All the lighting you have on your plants typically will create more warmth than you want. if you read these boards you will hear alot about cooling. The best thing to do is get a thermometer & put it around plant level in your grow area. Ideally you want to keep this 70-75 degress F. Under 80 is acceptable. Over 90 can kill. But my bet is that you don't need any heat from your flood light to keep it warm in there. & as it is most likely giving off lumens in mostly a yellow spectrum it is a big waste as far as light is concerned.

2nd you say your 23w cfl is 1600 lumens. that is OK. you're getting around 70 lumens per watt, as for the packaging saying it's = to 100 Watts that is total rubbish. An HID in comparison can give you more lumens per watt, 90+. But that's fine what matters more is that the lumens you are getting are spent in the spectrums that the plant can use. And if you have a CFL designed for growing then you should be ok.
