Help!!!!!!!!vacuum purging is this a good pump??

Seems like an ok pump. Are you going to pump out
an air conditioner? What do you mean, "make wax"?
Maybe I can't help, but I am very curious now, what you want
to do.

You can, but with varying degrees of success...Not to say it wont work, but it might not fully purge all of the butane out of the oil.

OP, Generally you want a two stage pump to achieve deep vaccum when degassing thick fluids like resin.
 
But when applying great amounts of vacuum, you're gonna want a chamber that won't fail catastrophically. Really not something home made, but rather a chamber designed to be under vacuum.

yes i have such chambers as well as homemade ones that work just as well..... just upgrading to a electric pump my vacuum sealer dose not reach the vacuum pressure i need....i think with the proper fittings and with no leaks i can achieve the negative pressure required with this pump................WAX is the goal i have my technique for gassing the buds down along with my tube size relative to the amount of bud/butane being used and think it is the most efficient out of the ways iv tryed

Yes that pump will pull a vacume down low enough. A two stage pump is quicker is all. My techs use single stage pumps to check for leaks and moisture in ac systems. Unless your vacume chamber is huge should work fine. Or you could just let the stuff naturally evaporate which is what i do or after all butane is gone I put mine in oven at 175 for about an .5 hour if in a hurry. But I do fined letting it sit for a week is good.
 
i use a mityvac brake bleeder, it goes up to about -92kpa and purges my oil into wax after necessary heat purging. you can get a metal one or the shitty plastic one, the handle breaks but its not hard to make one. and id use about 1 can of vector for 7-8 grams.
 
yes but for the price ill stick with my $79 pump and glass chamber in warm water works fine for me blazin down some wax all day

Your budder/Wax might be good but this makes shit better!!!! its all lab grade so your getting lab grade quality smoke!! and Ive never had any body else's Budder/Wax Beat the quality this thing puts out! it leaves all the Flavor/terps it dont over heat it dont under heat i dont have to mess with shit but set temp set V ac and close door and 1 hour later Presto the best shit ive seen and smoked!
 
Lab grade oven with a vacume pump, sounds expensive!! So do you think it increases the potency, or just better taste due to higher extraction of solvent? I am going to try a mason jar next time with my vacume pump. In the past I have just stuck the shit in an oven at 200-250 for an hr or so after the majority of solvent has boiled and then let it sit for a few weeks and let it naturally expire.
 
It leaves all the flavor and Wow let me tell you its worth it in the long run if your a true Bho/Wax Connoisseur and all you do is smoke Bho!
 
No its about half and half, oil and vap! I have never even tried vacume purging but think I will try at least that next run.
 
can u im me the prices on the makes. i just bought new pumps and 2 vacuum chambers this week still need the hot plate.. i was think about returing them and investing in your sweet chamber. thanks
