I've got a few plants that are out of control. They are outdoors and close to my home and I'am trying to be cautious about how high I let them get. At one point they were over 9ft tall. I topped them just a few days ago for fear of them being obvious. I brought their height down to just over 5ft and now after some much needed rain in our area they are approaching 7ft again in less than a week. I'm afraid if I keep topping them that its going to harm them in someway, so far I've been lucky they are all healthy, which is obvious because they keep growing back to there original height. I can't bend them as the stalks are to thick and i'd be afraid of breaking them. If I don't top them again I'm sure they will get at least 12ft tall within the next couple of weeks, man can these things grow. Anyone got any advise on what to do. My poor babies I fear will have to be topped again.
