My babies are getting to tall. They are 2 weeks into flower and Im running out of room. Is there anything I can do to slow there up growth? I thought about LST but i didnt think i could do that in flower?

you can tie them over and let them grow sideways some but you need to plan better for future growth .Always figure the plant to triple in height during flower and that gives you enough room.So if you vegged to 20 inches figure you need 5 feet for the plant then add the pot hieght and enough room for the light distance

I did well I thought anyways. They were 12 inches when i swithed over. now there 38 inches in about 2 and half weeks. There not stretched there thick and bushy, These things are monsters.

the first 2-3 weeks of flower is when they grow taller then they stop

well maybe i should wait another week and see if they stop before i tie them? Im afraid to stress them. If I need to tie them will that hurt me or help me? Ive been told that it increase production?

i love doing the tie down but i do it before budding but a few i have done after. My plants have never showed stress but they usualy bush out like mad smaller buds all over!!!

It wont hurt them.Its just a little harder since they are bigger and it takes time to slowly tie them down so you dont break them.What it will do is make all the bud sites that were lower all become top coloas and they can actually increase your yields

Thanks I might go ahead and try to tie them. I guess I should tie them with a little tension on them and slowlt increase it every day until it is where I want it?

yes go slow and make sure to use a loop with maybe a piece of straw on it so the string doesnt cut into the stalks

this one gets a bit bigger if you click it sorry i have a good one in one of my journals. The first pic is way behind this one and i tied it much later than mama like you said every other day for a bit i just kept crankin a bit more till i got em where i needed them but this one was not trying to stay short like mama in the veg box but for more light to penetrate. After i tied this plant the bottom stalkes branched out into two buds, very nice colas too!!!

i have also seen people tie closer to the tip but i like the middle of the branch
