HELP! stems are rotting

I have two PPP plants growing in a hydroponic system, they are about a month old and look good other than the main stem. At the base of both plants the stem is really thin and brown, I think it might be mold? How can i fix it? Thanks for the help

Hey russruss89 - Botanicare's Silica Blast is great for stem growth - you'll see it's results in a day or two! I had a little something wierd going on with my stems and a couple of leaves... so I went to my 'Friendly Neighborhood Hydro Shop' and got hooked up with it - and like the next day things had turned around for me!
