Help starting off for 2011

Whats up RIU! i have been reading around on these forums trying to prepare for an outdoor grow this year. im pretty excited about it as weed here is half seeds and overpriced. im moving to a medical state next year and i will be growing my own then so why not start now.
anyway ill let you know my plan as of now and please feel free to make recomendations as to i am new to cannibus.
I ordered my seeds last week from attitude. 5 Super Lemon Haze FEM, 1 California Hash Plant FEM, 1 Power Skunk FEM. I plan to try to find some nice bagseed to go with so i can expierment with them.
SLH flowers kinda long, did i screw up buying that strain for ohio outdoor? last frost is mid october i think.man i hope i didnt screw myself!!!
I am going to use Fox Farms Products. Grow Big, Big Bloom, Tiger bloom, Ocean Forest Soil. I will also use molassess durnig flowering.
I have cattle so i have alot of old cow shit in the field. should i mix that up in my soil? may buy bat quano if i have enough money.
I want to start vegging the plants indoors so i can get them nice, thick and healthy befor they go out into the Ohio elements. i would like to veg them for 8 weeks before they go outsid. i dont have my light yet, my grow room is about 5'x5' by 7.5' high. i am just going to use this light to get them to a healthy size before the sun takes over. i am going to use mylar on the walls of the room. would a 400w metal halide be strong enough to veg 5-8 plants for 8 weeks? 18/6 light schedule good? how big will the plants after 8 weeks? how big pots do you think ill need? when should i start LST the plants? When do i start feeding them? i will start at 1/4 strength and work my way up from there following the Fox Farms feeding schedule.
how far apart should i plant the plants from eachother? will be doing 3 patches of 2-3 plants per. how big of hole should i dig per plant? should you trim outdoor plants?
what is a good insect/bug/mite spray? any tips for deer and moles? im going to try to put a fence around them but we will see. i will be doing a journal once i start. this is a great community and thanks everybodys help.

yes i have and im picking up on alot. i have successfully germed my first seed (Bagseed) and the plant is one week old right now. looks good and healthy. i have built a light bar for seedlings and veg with 12 26w Daylight CFL's with beer can reflectors on 24/0.when i transplant out of the solo cups i think im going to put them in 2 gallon pots and under the 400w HPS. i am going to do 6 plants out doors in holes with good soil. the soil is a mixture of FF Happy Frog/Sunshine Natural and Organic/peralite at about 40/30/30. i will be using the FF trio for nutes. i just planted the freebie that i got from attitude (DINAFEM California Hash Plant). im hopeing it will sprout and then when it is big enough i can take some clones off of it and predominately grow that because it is indica and will finish in time. I plan to grow 2 of the super lemon haze's and the power skunk. they will have to be force flowered when august rolls around though. First mistake made. Sativas arent for Ohio. im pretty dam determined to get a good harvest out of these SLH's though.
