Help! Sick plant advice

this is our plant. it's 12 days old. pH has been around 5.7 and have only added a little nutrients. temp hovering around 78-84. adjusted the lights farther away today, as i believe it's a burning issue. by the way, this is running on a aerogarden and a cfl on the side. let me know what you think

if you were me I throw it into soil. and feed it 100 % strength fertilizer like a 10/10/10 or veg solution. not to be a dick you need to know before you go hydro. you will lose that plant with in 3 days. if you don't get it correct. that plant is starved beyond limits . put the ph @ 6.5 soil .

Either your ph is off or they want a little more food. I certaintly wouldn't scrap it and go back to soil! Once you go hydro soil goes bye, yo.

As long as they aren't dead, their alive : ) Those spots will never dissapear, so be checking for the health and vigor of new growth to know when you corrected a problem.

Here is my guess, it is showing signs of nitrogen deficiency, and cal/mag deficiency, and over-fertilization as witnessed by your leaf structure having downward hooked tips. Heat stress tends to bend the tips upward. I'm going to guess you overfed it something high in potassium which will lock out nitrogen, calcium and magnesium. This is just and educated guess so you will need to provide more details on what you have fed and at what ppm. Also what is the ppm on your source water?

I agree. At first, I thought it could be a ph problem. Then I re-read and saw that ph was @ 5.7. So now, I think it's either ppm's are too low. Or, the water temp is way too warm (being kept in a 78- 84 degree environment). Or, a mixture of both.

Could you fill us in on the ppm of your current nutrient solution?

I'm using 500-600ppm in veg. 200ppm of that is cal/mag because I use RO water. My plants are approx a month old at this point.

When you are in an inert medium(something with zero nutrition) it's important to start feeding almost immediately, just very lightly.

Week 1=50-150ppm
Week2=150-300ppm
Week3=300-450ppm
Week4=450-600ppm

This is my current recipe @ approx 1 month old:

(per 5gallons of water)

3tsp of Cal/mag=200ppm
2.5tsp of FloraNova Grow=300ppm
B'cuzz Roots=3/4tsp=10-20ppm
Floralicious Plus=1tsp=10-20ppm

I've found almost EVERY stain thrives around 500-700ppm in veg. I like them to be right in the middle(600) at 1 month old and keep them there unless they tell me they want more food.

That plants 1 month old ok somthing is definitely wrong id chuck it and start again and on close up looks like the roots r matting if thats is roots sticking out top id get bigger pots but all overnit should be 2 foot by 1 month
